Ed repainted our entire house, including two out-buildings. One of the out-buildings required water damage repair. Ed also repaired an area on our house that had peeled due to the CZU fire. The new paint on the peeled section later blistered, but Ed repaired and repainted that for no additional cost. Ed was very flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend Ed Doyle for house painting and associated repairs. Services: Water damage repair, Exterior painting

Let's see how to begin. Ed showed up 1/2 hour late for the appointment. Assumed he was not coming. We were startled by this guy honking his horn over and over outside the gate (it was Ed) 1/2 hour after said appointment (we assumed that he was not showing). Neighbors, in a residential neighborhood no less, be damned right? This was not a honk or two - this was "laying on" the horn, if you know what I mean. First, I check my phone and there is this "nutty" voicemail saying a variety of weird and aggressive things. Anyway, I opened the gate for him and, when he parked, informed him that I needed to leave, given that he was 1/2 hour late, and that he could reschedule as I had to leave. By way of response, he went into a cursing tirade that lasted for, perhaps, 10 minutes. Fortunately, we have cameras on the front of the house and the side where he was parked (so it was all recorded), which I just finished watching prior to writing this review. He then proceeded to back up and, ultimately, placed himself in front of the gate (presumably to block it - so no one could leave) while spewing vitriol and cursing. He left when I walked out and used my phone to film (cursing all the way down the driveway as he drove) and past my neighbor. I have never in my left seen such a spectacle. And from a painting contractor??? I am posting this for any potential customers to see. Be careful. I am just glad that I was at home and not my kids or wife by themselves. This event was VERY disturbing, to say the least. We wanted a painting estimate and ended up with an aggressive man, arriving 1/2 hour after the scheduled meeting time, honking at our front gate, followed by a foul cursing tirade as he left and blocked our driveway until I brought my phone camera to the back of his van. This was so disturbing that I reported him to the County Sheriff and texted him that he was NEVER to come anywhere near our property again, lest he be considered a threat and a trespasser and be charged. I am now considering what legal avenues may be available. Trust me, the tapes of Mr. Doyle are "DISTURBING" - yes in an "all-caps" kind of way.

Ed over delivered at every step at The Mat - Boulder Creek Laundry -He helped us pick the perfect color and we got to test it. -He painted every edge and corner and had advice on trim colors to make areas pop. -When his crew had an extra hour he had then paint a couple extra areas inside that were a bonus. -They showed up on time and charged a fair price. I was nervous hiring someone for such and important job, but Ed and his team nailed it. I'd hire them again.

I had Ed spray and roll my garage. He didn't bat an eye and got in done in less than a day. It looks great! Ed does a great job. He's a very likable guy and very knowledgeable in his work. Its hard to find good help in the mountains, but he's someone you can count on to get your painting done properly. He'll be my go-to painter from now on. Service: Interior painting
