Very dishonest company. Please do your research before choosing to do business with Sun Run. Do some research on the lawsuit against them for all their deceitfulness. Look at how many complaints they have against them with the BBB. I chose to expand my solar system and signed an agreement with them. After the agreement was signed and the solar panels were scheduled for installation, they called me and said that all of a sudden my electrical panel needed to be completely replaced. The site surveyer had already came out, inspected my house, and cleared everything. He told me I was good to go... I already have solar panels that are currently running on my electrical panel. The solar panels were set to be installed until I was called and told some engineer decided I needed a new electrical panel even though their site inspector cleared it before hand. This was going to add another $5000 dollars and I could not get the solar panels installed without paying for the $5000 electrical panel replacement. I hope they will contact me and do the right thing but after doing my research I'm not holding my breath. I hope this review saves people from getting taken advantage of. Thanks for reading.

I had solar installed and everything was going great until the sales person showed up and told me that my system would greatly benefit from having a battery and more panels installed. I asked them the sales person and her boss (Daron Wilson) if the battery was going to be able to run my house air conditioner to which they both said yes. Daron over the phone. Once everything was installed, the tech that showed up to fix the issue that was going on said the battery was not able to run the air conditioner. I have tried to contact Sunrun over phone, emails, i even stopped at the local office which they don't know anything or don't want to help. I was sold on something that I didn't need with a lie. Stay away from sunrun there are better companies here in Bakersfield. Sunrun will lie just to make a sale.
