Master's Gardening Services

I saw the other reviews after we had Master's Gardening Service do a cleanup of our rental house (after the gardener that we'd used for years disappeared). They did ask for 100% up front, but they arrived and did a great cleanup of the yard. Some of the hedges need to be brought down about 2 feet, but there was no discussion on height before they did the work because the entire yard was so badly overgrown. This was our first experience with them, but so far so good. Hopefully they have new workers since the other reviews were given. Update: Our first experience was great, but has gone downhill from there. Customer service is horrible. The renter didn't unlock the side gate for two weeks and I was told by the owner that... "Making sure the gate is unlocked is not my responsibility" (which it isn't), but a text or phone call would have been helpful. It seems to only be about getting in quick and getting out, and give me the money... with zero customer service. Once I gave them the CC to pay for this month's service, they've stopped replying and answering the questions I have. I am cancelling service with them.

Do NOT use The Master's Gardening Services. We have used them for gardening services since May 2016 and their work has been continually going downhill. Beside weekly services for yard care, we also had extra jobs done that we paid extra to do. As soon as we contracted the work, they send you an invoice expecting full payment before they complete the work. We would ask for before and after pictures of the work that we would want done since we do not live in the area where we have this rental. We were promised that the work would be done right away so we would send the full payment to them. It's been taking them longer and longer to complete the job and the quality of work has been getting worse and worse. Recently we contracted them to trim our palm trees which we were told that they would trim all the trees for $1600 and they would start that weekend and we ask for pictures. After 2 weeks and not getting any pictures, we asked our property manager to follow-up. They were only trimming a few trees at a time and after a month, he got upset and left with several trees including one large one untrimmed. We asked for a refund of half the amount as he had not completed near what he was supposed to do. Also there were broken sprinklers which he kept putting off repairing and we have pictures of the grass drying out as needed watering. He has refused to answer our calls or refund our money. Our property manager got a tree service to trim what was left and the tree service indicated that the trees that were trimmed were not trimmed properly. NEVER PAY THIS COMPANY BEFORE THEY COMPLETE THE WORK. We should have only paid half the amount up front and then the rest when the job was completed. But they always wanted the amount up front. No now we have a different gardener so our advice is to NOT USE The Master's Gardening Services for ANY gardening or other yard care services!

Driving peacefully down the road when a dipshit in a company truck cuts me off, forcing me to slam my brakes. I know some people that had work done by them, and they do a terrible job as well. I've held a landscaping job, and it boggles my mind how anybody could be capable of doing a poor job, but these guys are something else I guess. Terrible drivers and workers.
