UPDATE: Despite several hundred billboards (well not that many, but a lot, okay?) telling me that I simply must stop at The Mad Greek in Baker – but ha ha, jokes on me, it's completely closed. There's not even a closed sign on the restaurant until you walk right up to the door, altho the whole place definitely looks abandoned and derelict. It was annoying in the moment and disappointing to think it might be gone for good. I hope they reopen eventually. If they are planning to come back, it certainly would be a kindness to weary travelers to put "Closed for renovations," or whatever, on those billboards.
