Hotel Metropole

Celebrated a birthday here and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect, the hot tub was a hit with a beautiful view, the room was large and had everything we needed.

My husband and daughter (named after Catalina!) were attempting to bring my parents and unfortunately our 4 month old very got sick - turned into a little bit of a cluster. Originally we had booked through booking.com (postpartum brain fart) and will never use them again. LUCKILY I was able to finally call the hotel myself and speak with a Lovely gentleman, Cody. He was professional and kind and very understanding and accommodating. Just the interaction on the phone call alone will prompt me to only stay here when on island moving forward!!

For my first trip to Catalina, I splurged and stayed in the VIP wing of Hotel Metropole. Wow, truly memorable! The staff were so friendly, room was clean and stellar, and the continental breakfast was a nice bonus. Radiant heated floors, jetted jacuzzi with an ocean view, it was an island paradise.

Rented 2 rooms for over $5000.00 for 3 days. Great rooms. The huge problem, the people above us were extremely noisy the entire time. They were dragging chairs across fake wood floors and jumping around. I would not advise staying in rooms 215 or 216. I spoke to management and they said they would deal with the people above but it did not help. i have stayed at this hotel several times, but I never had anyone stay above me. Lesson learned.
