Two women/medics from AMR came in today to take someone to the hospital. When they came through the doors, the older woman said loudly, "Oh my GOD this place STINKS! I would rather die than live in a place like this!" The younger girl said, "Oh my God I know right?!" as they continued down the hall the older woman sang, "I would rather diiieeeeeee!" multiple residents were in the hall and heard them, one was in tears after they passed by. we approached them and explained calmly how their behavior affected others and that they were exhibiting unprofessional behavior. Their faces turned red and it took them maybe 10 seconds for one to say, "we weren't talking about this place!" we reported them to AMR as well as other health entities. We have their actions and words on camera. To say that we are livid is an understatement. This is not the first time AMR employees have been unprofessional towards us or our residents. More often than not they are rude and few have even yelled at my residents. I cannot begin to explain our emotions regarding this experience.

I really wish I could leave a better review. This is a job I love I have always wanted to help people. I have been in their shoes but The one day that I needed help AMR took me to a hospital that could not provide what I needed. This choice has changed my life forever. The unit that showed up to help obviously needed more training or panicked? I hope no one ever has to go through what I had to because emergency personnel poor choices.

My Dad and our family were the beneficiary of AMRs Sentimental Journey. They transported my Dad, who is bedridden and on hospice, to our home 30 minutes away from Auburn Oaks where he is being cared for. It was his request to visit one last time before he dies. The EMT and Paramedic who transported him stayed and took care of all the moves needed to keep him comfortable. We will ever be grateful for their generosity.
