        I've worked with various attorneys for decades and have never left one a negative review. After leaving an extremely negative review for Mr. Hamilton, he sent me a letter threatening to sue me for defamation if I did not completely remove my review within 7 days, which is a violation of my first amendment right to free speech and the very reason why California and the majority of States have adopted anti-SLAPP statues.

        We have had experience with Mr. Hamilton. Based upon the experience of other reviewers, it would be inadvisable for me to describe details. It is my opinion that one should use caution dealing with Mr. Hamilton.

        Worst experience EVER! Doesn't listen to his clients. Told me on several occasions to just "settle" so he, himself, could move on. Drags his feet on everything. Post divorce was even worse. Said he would obtain my maiden name for me through the courts at no cost to me. I have called at least 5 times to get status updates, and this is over the course of 6 years!! Never received calls back. Finally went to the courthouse, they said nothing had been received on their end. Went ahead and did it myself!

      In my office, the needs and best interests of children are paramount. If a potential client has alternative goals, then I will not allow them to retain me. If I reject a case, that does not mean you get a refund of your consultation fee (even if you threaten to post a negative review).I also will defend myself if someone makes false accusations, as this reviewer initially did. Read the rest of my reviews, as well as my reviews on other sites. That will allow you to put any negative comments in perspective and to appropriately weigh this specific review.
