I came across this on some “beauty guru” recommendations. Said they received the product and it was a great option for reapplying sunscreen over makeup. Now I know many have said this is not the best option but I thought it better than nothing at the moment till I find something better out. This was advertised as a part makeup setting spray and sunscreen so I thought great! And it’s clean yay. I had used the milanit spf 30 setting spray and i had no problems with it but it dried out my face so I thought a clean product would be better. But when I got the product, basically it pulled over makeup after second reapplication (from a distance and shaking it really well still). So I tried it just over Two different foundations, primers, normal cream sunscreen to see if it was just the combination of the first foundation but clearly that was not the case. It made even the just a plain face with sunscreen pill the layer of sunscreen underneath so making it essentially pointless product for what I wanted it for. The worst part came when I contacted the company for returns. Firstly, they were only really helpful and informative the first go around when I said it didn’t work to instruct me to shake it well and try from a distance which I had already been doing. I went to find out about their return policy and apparently they have a $10 restocking fee at their discretion which is just a ridiculous thing!!! So I emailed to ask when that would apply at their discretion. They said if the RECEIVED the product after 21 days (you only
Habe 21 days to test and have it returned by 21 days total.) and I asked if they could clarify if it was if the posted stamp was within 21 days or their receiving it and mentioned that with COVID there are no guarantees of shipping dates. Both times they gave me short replies, each taking a day or two later to respond and said that basically they will charge me the $10 (plus the shipping fee out of my own pocket so about $15 to get this returned) if they receive it after 21 days regardless if it was post stamped within 21 days. Clearly this company pretends to be a green friendly company with “good ethos” to sell you and then pretty much lose all of their ethos when it comes to giving you back your money. They also didn’t post my initial review of the product even though it was before the back and forth a of the return policy just because I kindly wrote that for those wanting it as a makeup reapplication it was a complete waste of money! The reviews on their site is only positive except for one that says it was too expensive for her. Honestly don’t waste your money or fall for the fake “good ethos” philosophy on the site when their business practices are all about taking your money and making sure you are discouraged from returning it.
