Our wedding was perfectly photographed and every moment captured beautifully. When we got the photos back my wife and I were blown away and taken back to our special day. Danieka was phenomenal, made the whole process so fun and enjoyable, and, honestly, was hardly noticeable in the best way. We could not have asked for a better photographer!!

Here is the truth NOBODY tells you when you are searching for a wedding photographer: EVERYONE has an awesome portfolio. Sure, they will differ here and there...but that is what that first phone call is SO incredibly important. From our very first call, I KNEW Danieka was the photographer for us. She had an amazing portfolio full of images where couples, set in front of impossibly beautiful backdrops still stood out. You can literally FEEL her photos. But what was so apparent to me was just how MUCH she intended to be part of this whole journey with us so that we could enjoy the day knowing she was going to be capturing so many moments that we would miss in the blur of our own excitement and celebration. She was flexible -- and in an age of COVID and crazy planning, I can't stress ENOUGH how important flexibility and empathy has been -- and really focused on what WE wanted. Unlike other photographers we talked to, Danieka was more concerned about our style, our goals and what we wanted...so that she could bring ideas that would make every moment OURS. While others just sent us previous portfolios...Danieka was sending us examples of sets and set ups from editorial spreads along with examples of other amazing moments she had created with other couples. On the day, she was in all the spots to capture all THE moments with her eye for every ounce of joy and celebration. I can't say enough about Danieka other than this...you WILL NOT REGRET having Danieka be part of your day. She isn't just there to snap photos that look like everyone else's wedding album. She is there to capture YOU and all the joy, laughter and special moments that will happen between you and your friends and loved ones.

COVID-19 had us changing and updating our wedding plans almost up until the day of! Throughout all of it, Danieka was professional, flexible, thoughtful, and responsive. While we were unsure of many details, we were never unsure of our decision to work with her! We were delighted to go through the pictures and see the thought that went into capturing the big moments and little details of our day. We were nervous about being in front of a camera, but Danieka did an excellent job of making us feel comfortable and most importantly, like ourselves. Don't hesitate to work with such a sweet and professional photographer!

Danieka went above and beyond on our wedding photography last September (2018). I could not have asked for better pictures from my wedding. The venue was way out in the middle of the woods and she completely accommodated us with no fuss. She arrived early, stayed late, and was thorough in her work. I honestly feel like she became my go to person the day of my wedding. She kept me on track and calm. I look forward to working with her again in the future for family photos and other events. Highly recommend! Her photos are stunning!
