I looked up process heating elements on google maps. Western Thermal came up, gave them a call and they took care of me. I needed an band type element to heat used oil for my diy biodiesel business. I was just going to order something and build my application set up around the heater, however the guys at western thermal engineered a heater specifically for what i was planning to put together, and they did that over the phone! I was expecting to have to pay for the custom engineering, but not only did they do the engineering for free but they also explained that the type of heater i wanted would not work efficiently for my application. They told me about a plug type emersion heater that dropped right in the drum, it made my process and set up make a lot more sense and saved me $$ and trouble down the road.
I was very impressed with their knowledge and professionalism, I ordered the heater and a control and it fit perfect in my drum/tank and runs very efficient. A few weeks later i called them back up and ordered a few more for my buddies biodiesel set up.
I highly recommend Western Thermal for any process heaters, controls, plugs, panels, etc.
