We hired Kantor & Kantor after doing our consult with Glenn Kantor. Glenn was very thorough, listened patiently, and we were very impressed with him. We felt very confident with trusting him and his firm with my long term disability case. Zoya Yarnykh was assigned as my primary attorney during the active part of my case after I hired her firm. Periodically, I spoke with Brent Brehm for questions. During phone or emails sent/received from him I found him to be impatient, frustrated, and even condescending when I was confused and needed clarification. Unfortunately, my medical issues negatively impacts my ability to process information at times. Therefore, I felt disrespected as if I were not important to him as a client. Thankfully, as my primary attorney, I dealt with Zoya the vast majority of time. She stayed with my case until my appeal was won and my benefits were reinstated. She was and is amazing and I am so grateful to her. Once my benefits were recovered, the firm's ongoing team took over the day to day. Now, I work with Susan Foley with ongoing case management and benefits distribution. Susan is very nice too, and has been very patient and helpful. My case was only recently won, so I don't have too much feedback for her yet. Zoya continues to consult on my case as needed, and she remains very patient with all of my questions. I never feel like my questions are unworthy of her time, nor have any of her answers left me feeling belittled or anything less than respected and valued as her client. She worked very hard to make sure we won my case, and made insightful recommendations that I believe made the difference. I felt and still feel very valued and appreciated as a client by Zoya. I can say with absolute certainty, I would rather have her by my side if I had to go through it again than any other attorney I consulted or worked with on other legal matters. I really feel she cares about me and my case. I've never gotten that sense from an attorney before. Sure, some may have cared about getting my money but not me as a person. When you need someone you can be sure will fight for you, care for you, listen to you, and treat you with compassion and respect, hire Zoya, I highly recommend her and the vast majority of the Kantor & Kantor team. I give Zoya 5 stars! I give 5 overall to the firm although Mr, Brehm almost lost a star for them

Horrible experience. I hired Glenn Kantor thinking he will represent me. He passed my case to Brent Brehm, without prior notification. Brent Brehm postponed working on my appeal letter until 10 days before the appeal deadline (after being the attorney "on my case" for almost 6 months). Despite claiming that they have expertise in ERISA claims and appeals, they failed to try and obtain ANY new documents for my appeal, other than the claim file from the insurance company. After consulting another lawyer and following her advice, at the last minute just before the appeal deadline and using my own resources, I obtained medical expert letters, which were critical to the appeal decision. Kantor & Kantor's gross negligence in handling my case was shocking, especially after reading all their stellar reviews. Makes me wonder, are these 5 star reviews real?! They were hoping my appeal will be denied so they could sue the insurance company and get more $$$. Sadly, the only part of the agreement they considered they MUST KEEP was grabbing their hefty fee at the end. But putting the effort in, working zealously on my case... not so much. They got paid for my work and dared to claim that "their legal expertise" carried the day on appeal. When I brought to their attention the documents that proved otherwise, they stopped communicating with me. I would not recommend Kantor & Kantor to anyone. Zero value for the services provided. I would have been better off without them.

I haven't been able to obtain one or happy with one and their fees are outrageous especial for being textbook routine.

I am incredibly grateful for Michelle Robert's expertise, wisdom and innovative approach in helping me navigate a quite challenging, and emotionally charged legal situation. Not only was she on point, intelligent and progressive, she was also compassionate and empathetic to the specific challenges in my case. I truly believe she had my best interest in mind, both immediate and long term, and advised me accordingly. Michelle spent a lot of time understanding the complex issues, researching the latest information and opinions around the matter, and handled the resolution with the utmost confidence and professionalism.
