The important thing with any organization is that if something goes wrong, do they solve it quickly? I had a problem due to a slight mistake in a description. It was a genuine mistake, and they immediately responded to me, and offered a refund on the spot. I will certainly use them again.

It was a real pleasure working with the art team at Michaan's. I had many art pieces I had inherited from an uncle. Most of them were nice, interesting pieces, though not of particularly high value. They were very good at assessing each piece, and assigning an estimated value. I tried selling them on various websites, including craigslist and ebay; it was a waste of time. Michaan's was able to sell them all quickly and at good prices through their auctions and warehouse. Highly recommended.

Michaans auction house is much more than it advertises. Not only can you bring in your great uncles moss-covered three handled family gradunza for a fee appraisal, but you will meet some incredibly kind, resourceful, and helpful people who may very well enlighten you about what it is that you brought and at the same time give you insight via that knowledge into your family. I have used their service to find buyers for things that I was left responsible for after the passage of three family members. If you are in doubt, please give them a call and / or send a photo - the answer you get might surprise you. I can certainly recommend Michael Rosenberg for coins, Elise Coronado for jewelry, and Gabe Herzog for furniture and decorative arts. They provide a really wonderful experience!
