Needed some specialty lumber for a boat project I am working on, Home Depot or Lowes does not carry.  I called 5 different lumber mills, and no one had a clue of where to start.  Spoke with Rob the shop owner and he asked about the project, and was able to provide me with exactly what I needed to finish the repair work...Great guy with a lot of knowledge.

Rob and company are top notch woodworkers and milling professionals. I found them with my father in law eight years ago and asked them to mill some pecan trees we were cutting on his property. Rob continues to provide excellent service and advice today and I'd recommend him to anyone.

Rob and Jackson were a great help.  Ron's advice on the many different types of hard wood slabs for our bar, was extremely helpful.  He was very generous with his time explaining how to  prep and treat the wood slabs.   Thank you so much we can't wait to get our wood slabs in a couple of weeks, for our bar!!!!

My friend and I dropped 2 -4' long 30" wide 5 and 6 inch thick slabs of crotch walnut off to be milled. We asked that one have 5/4 slabs and the other 5/4 and 6/4 slabs. Owner said sure no problem. My Saw will go through that stuff like a hot knife through butter. The hardest part is just getting it on the Saw. We picked up the wood today. I still have a 3" slab and a 2-1/4" slab and 4 pieces that were cut from the slabs. 1 slab has a 3/4" gouge in the middle of it. I asked about this and "oh that is where the blade broke, this stuff was very hard to get through." He then proceeded to tell me I could plane out the gouge. How do you plane out a 3/4" gouge in a 1-1/2" piece of lumber and still be useful? When we dropped it off we were very clear on the cuts. He even wrote it on the slabs. Now he says we only wanted 2 cuts off of each slab. Not true! I am very disappointed with the poor service we received from this sawmill. 4 cuts and 1 is pretty much unusable. I will never use them again and will warn my friends to stay away.
