Platner Pools

Steve and his crew were second to none. The entire process was seamless, the work impeccable, and they finished 2 weeks ahead of schedule. We are so extremely happy - doing work on any part of your home can be a headache, but in this case, it was anything but. Thank you!!

We just finished a complete remodeling of our backyard (first time in close to 40 years) that included extensive work on our existing pool. The work included re-tiling, new PebbleTec finish, changing the dam between the spa and the pool, replacing the skimmer (that was leaking), relocating the spa controls, and replacing the lights (for both pool and spa) and relocating these controls. We were introduced to Steve Platner of Platner Pools by Wildflora Designs -- the Landscape Architect who designed the backyard. From the first meeting with Steve, through the entire process (that required close to two months given the other work that was being done), and to completion, Steve kept us routinely updated. Whenever we had a question, he was readily available by phone or text. He always considered our questions or issues and was open to incorporating our ideas into the plans. At the same time, he was open about any concerns that our ideas might raise. We always felt he was 100% honest and direct with us and, at no time, did we feel that we were being "pushed" into something we didn't want. Additionally, all of the crews that were involved in the work were friendly and engaging and, at all times, were respectful of the environment -- in particular, towards the last phase of the work, when the landscape and hardscape were in already in place. We cannot stress how thrilled we are with the work -- we feel that we have an entirely new pool (not one that was originally built in 1981). Perhaps the best comment comes from the individual who has been maintaining our pool for the past several years. Upon seeing it for the first time after the work was completed, he said that if he didn't know better, he would assume it was a newly built pool. We couldn't agree more. Without question, I recommend Platner Pools.

Platner was referred to us by our landscape designer and we could not have been happier. Steve came by at every stage, did the work on time and made fantastic suggestions about design and other choices. He's super responsive and great to work with and the pool looks amazing. Can't recommend highly enough.

Steve is the most professional and helpful pool builder. Our dream backyard came to life with his design help and vision. The project was completed on time and there were “no surprises”. Steve and his team did a fantastic job completely re-modeling our pool after the fires. The new tile, new plaster, and design exceeded our expectations. Very professional, reliable, and attentive to detail. Highly recommend.
