These people never answer the phones every time I have called them. They have canceled their appointments on me several times without giving me notice and are not accommodating! I have never had good experiences with this doctors office and have only ever had issues every time I have gone.

Go anywhere but here Dr Jan is horrible and every single question you have she will remind you that she will have to charge you a copay. Basically if you go in for a physical you are not aloud to talk no questions no NOTHING! Or she will charge you extra

Every time I call, no one picks up the phone. One day their phone had a busy signal the entire day.Turns out they were having phone trouble. It seem that they are having a phone trouble every day as no one picks up the phone nordo they return the messages. I was on hold for 10 minutes to just make an appointment and still no one came on the phone. I had to hang up as I had to get back to work. It is beyong frustrating to reach this office. I am in the process of changing the medical group and doctors here.

***AVOID***, unless you like being stuck with large surprise out-of-pocket bills.I visited Dr Shepard at Providence for an annual checkup at the very end of July and he referred me to Quest for basic blood tests.  I was changing jobs, so I didn't have a insurance for 3 months after July.  As he was writing my referral, I told him my insurance was expiring, and he said "You go any time in the next 6 months, it'll be tied to this visit".  So I went to Quest, and next thing you know I get a $900 bill for basic blood tests!  I called the office multiple times over several days, and NO ONE picks up.  The only way you can get in touch with someone is if you call to make new appointment.  I also emailed the doctor a couple times through MyChart, and he never responded!  Ultimately, his staff contacted me and basically said "he didn't say that", an that it's my fault for not checking the insurance beforehand.  Luckily, Quest reduced the bill to $300, and yet Providence wouldn't cover that either. This is despite the fact they charged my insurance double that just for a 10-minute visit with the doctor.  Horrible patient service and moronic sense of business. And not to mention, when I made the appointment, the staff never disclosed that they outsource the blood test to Quest, despite the fact that I confirmed that this checkup would include a blood test and asked how long I should fast.  Not only is going to Quest an extra appointment you have to make, but going to the local Quest clinics is a miserable experience.  With Quest, you show up on time to your appointment and they don't serve you until 25 minutes after.

As a retired doctor of 37 years in practice I come from a different angle. I called to get an wellness check at this Clinic. I was given an appointment . I completed paperwork and was seen face to face for about 20 minutes. I was then given orders for lab work. We discussed the possibility of a CT Calcium Score test. I told the doctor that I would consider that and get back with them. I then went to Quest Labs and had blood drawn. So far things were acceptable. I later get a bill from Medicare stating that most of my bill was not covered because it was a WELCOME TO MEDICARE VISIT. That means very small portion of the clinics bill was covered and NONE OF THE LAB WORK WAS COVERED. I received a bill of over $800.00 from the lab not including the bill from the clinic. I called and was not told by Quest that lab work would not be covered. If that were not bad enough I called back later to get a referral from Providence for the CT Calcium Score and was told I would need to schedule another visit. Are you kidding!I find the actions of this clinic to be on the line of honest and ethical practices. If I ever did this to any of my patients I would not be able to sleep at night. You are free to check to see if I have ever complained about any other company. I can save you the time and hassle.I have NOT!
