    The store employees were too busy talking to each other to wait on my husband and the girl who was cleaning the jewelry was using a toothbrush on diamonds to clean. She also told me one of the diamonds was loose. I took it to a professional jeweler who said there was nothing wrong except the scratches on the diamonds and I don't even wear it any more. I will never buy any thing from them again and wish I didn't have to get the diamond bond's checked by them.

    I would not buy jewelry from here. My husband got me an opal ring and about two weeks later he said it sounds lose got get it tightened. I took it and they said oh no it's fine doesn't need to be tightened. A week ago the stone fell out and luckily I found it took it back up there with my receipt and they said it's not their fault I have to pay to get it put back in and be without it for 3 weeks because they have to ship it off. The ring doesn't even shine like it used to and that's with cleaning. The jewelry doesn't last long here and is not worth what you pay. Would not recommend this store!

    I must disagree with both the reviews posted thus far on this jewelry store. I have been purchasing jewelry from Gordon's for several years now (so much so, they know my daughter and me on a first name basis). I find the employees to be not only extremely professional but incredibly helpful as well. They make no difference between someone purchasing a $19 item or someone purchasing a $19,000 item. I can't even begin to tell you how much I've purchased there and they have never been misleading about their jewelry. And to the person who said they told you the piece you bought was gold but was in fact plated, I've purchased all my jewelry in 925 sterling silver with gold or rose plating. And I ALWAYS knew what I was purchasing. And to the person who lost the stone in their ring, did you purchase the lifetime plan? The steadfastly stand behind this plan and will always honor it. I got a beautiful 925 sterling silver, rose gold plated ring that I had wanted for 2 years and they were as happy as I was that I got it for Christmas and the stone became loose and they didn't hesitate to repair the ring and that was the second one I had to have sent off for tightening, but I bought the lifetime plan on all my jewelry and have always been treated with respect and professionalism. If you purchased the lifetime plan, they will replace the stone free of charge. They explain all the advantages of the lifetime warranty at the time of purchase, and seriously, you can't buy 10 or 14k gold anywhere for $200. The plan is only $39.00 and is well worth the money. It also covers sizing as many times as needed. So if you didn't purchase the lifetime warranty to get your stone replaced free of charge, it's not the fault of the jeweler. And likewise, I'm sure they explained your purchase was plated and perhaps you misunderstood, but the warranty covers replating if needed, as well, free of charge. I love shopping here and will continue to do so and while I don't mean to undermine your reviews, I feel with all due respect, in both cases it wasn't the fault of the jeweler. We, as purchasers, do bear some responsibility if we don't purchase the lifetime plan that is always offered for a nominal amount of money. Based on the above, I give Gordon's Jewelers a resounding 5 star review. Joy Lynn
