I greatly appreciate the companys willingness to listen and understand the issue and then correct it. Thank you. Original review below. Called King Irrigation out for a quote for repairing my sprinkler system (it wasn't properly winterized last year). A technician came out and gave my husband a verbal quote. He then called and set up an appointment for it to be repaired. That day arrived, the technician was a half an hour late (for a 8am Monday morning appointment) and then didn't bother to let us know he was completed with the task. Fast forward to today, we received the bill expecting what we were quoted for, NOPE...$300 MORE. According to the bill, we were only quoted for the PART. If I ask for a quote for a repair, I expect labor and such to be included in that quote as I know I'm paying someone to repair it for me...I don't automatically know your rates for labor. I should not, as your customer, be given a number (expecting that is what I'll be paying) to then get my bill later and be completely blindsided by an extra $300. If your technicians don't know exact numbers for a quote then, give a range. I would've been much happier with a $800-$1000 range then the completely wrong number I was given. Truly, who gives a quote for just the PART COST?! I'm baffled by the complete lack of professionalism I experienced with this company. I hope your business can learn from this.
