My husband was in a hit and run car accident and was sent here. I came up to wait with him. The waiting area wasn't full but we waited 6 hours to get seen by a doctor. By hour 3 he was given a chest xray. I understand there are no rooms (I work at another SSM hospital) but at least give patients their results of their tests so they don't have to wait so long or have the doctor see noncritical patients in one of the triage rooms. He was only seen by the doctor for 40 minutes before he got his discharge paperwork. The nurses were really nice but I jist think there needs to be better procedures in place.

Okay psychiatric care, experienced starvation, threatening nurses, no aftercare, big headache - literally. Would not recommend. St. John’s gave us sandwiches

I have had the pleasure of dealing with this hospital since may 18th 2021. This has to be the most horrible experience. Some nurses were light in the crazy mess of a hospital. I know they are overwhelmed and overworked but the fact is what I have witnessed and been part of will forever be the most disturbing situation. No help from case workers or social workers. No guidance for this life changing stroke my mother had. They did no evaluation to determine if it's in her best interest to be in charge of medical and life choices. Months later I find this out after requesting a Psyche evaluation ! This has scared me beyond repair from hospitals and the care I was scared to even leave her there . I will get to the bottom of this and hopefully can make some changes that help future patients and families not feel so lost and confused and scared
