Americas Best Value Inn

I checked into the AB in Carlisle, Arkansas by random chance. I was attempting to drive all the way back home to Bentonville when sudden fatigue overcame me. I checked in, the price seemed legit. The room, mostly clean with the exception of the two spiders I smashed. I crawled into bed around 12:30 am (15 minutes after checking in) I started feeling things crawling on me, biting me. Guess who's room had a mosquito family living in it? THIS GIRL!!! So I kindly asked to be moved to another room. Upon opening the door to this second room, a swarm of angry, bloody thirsty, vicious mosquitos b-lined for me. I walked back to the front desk where I promptly asked to check back out. The guy, Phillip I believe, behind the desk said I signed a waiver stating if I stayed more than 10 minutes, the room was not refundable. I demanded he call a manager, who then asked how old I was. When it was reported back that I was 22 (I'm actually 24), the manager said I could go with a ten dollar charge for my 15 minute stay. By this point, it was nearing 1 am and I had been on the road for 12+ hours. I was exhausted so I did not further argue my point. I loaded my car, signed my receipts, and drove on. If you need a decent place to stay, shoot for the Motel 8 in North Little Rock. The area isn't the best but the price is right, and my room was clean. Little does America's Best know, but I am disputing the ten dollar charge with my credit card company because it doesn't say that anywhere on the waiver. You lose, mosquito/spider infested Americas Best.
