I'm very glad I chose to work with GEX. This past year, I bought a 1970 VW Beetle, and the engine blew up after 2 weeks. I ordered a totally new engine build from GEX, and they built it and shipped it to me in NC in 2 months. They kept me up to date with status updates, and they answered questions I had along the way. Many thanks to GEX for helping me restore my Bug!

Good customer service. Very quick to answer emails and return phone calls. I purchased a 1.9l long block and has been running strong in my Vanagon.

Spoke to Larry at length about a 1914 motor and transmission. He is very knowledgeable and I could hear the pride of ownership in his voice. I had read every review I could find. After researching the negative comments, I found quite a few were also engine builders. "Competitors" My experience with his new sales person and Larry has been great and I am optimistic I have made a good decision. I'm not naive, I am a good judge of intentions. My engine should be here in 2 weeks. Will update after a few hundred miles on motor. Based on research, I'm sure I will be pleased. Thank you Larry for the extra time to answer all of my questions. I understand why you have been successful for over 40 years! Update; motor is here, waiting for transmission. Update; been very happy with the customer service and willingness to help. This is a customer centric organization. I have 300 miles on the motor and I am happy. I'm full of questions about every little detail. Larry and Alex have responded quickly 100% of the time. I was so pleased I sent the foreman a $100 gift certificate for going above and beyond on his personal time for me. These guys care and do quality work. I recommend GEX International highly!
