Tucson Vetcalls

We have used Dr. Maria to say goodbye to four of our pets and we wouldn't change a thing. She is so easy to talk to and we trust her opinion over any corporate vet office. The death of a pet is never going to be an easy experience, but having someone who is non judgmental and consolatory really helps during a very difficult situation. Tucson Vetcalls provides an invaluable service that we have been and will continue to be thankful for.

Thank you, Dr Maria for your many visits to care for our fur babies, 3 cats and 4 dogs during the 4 years that weve needed you for drawing blood samples, ordering prescriptions, evaluations, valley fever care and spot on recommendations. It has been a week today that we said good-bye to our sweet dog, Luke, in our own home with the help of Dr. Miller. We had never done it that way with any other pet and after meeting Dr. Miller, we will always go this route with any pet we might have in the future. And with Dr. Miller if she is still doing it then! Dr. Miller was incredibly compassionate and so understanding around how hard it was for my husband and I to make this decision and to say our final good-byes to our precious Basenji Pup of 17 years. She also confirmed our decision to do so by pointing out his pale gums--possibly associated with kidney and/or liver problems--and telling us that his stomach looked distended. We were very appreciative of that and felt all the more better about having decided that it was time to let go. Dr. Miller made a very sad and emotional day bearable and the letting go process peaceful. It was also helpful to realize that we weren't doing it "to" Luke, but "for" Luke. He is now free of physical pain, his loneliness for his sister lost 4 years prior on the same day and his insecurity around being left alone. I am so happy for him. And while there is a sense of emptiness in our home and when in the void, great sadness, there is also a sense of lightness in knowing he is far better off where he is now and breathing light and happy. Dr. Maria came to our house on very short notice and helped us say goodbye to our beloved dog with compassion and grace. I can't recommend her enough.

Dr Miller is wonderful and has been a huge part of taking care of our pups! They love her as much as we do!
