Rincon Roofing

Poor workmanship, won't finish job, won't return calls. Within the past year my father in law hired Rincon roofing aka Bob's custom roofing. They were in the neighborhood working on another home nearby. He got a quote and had them do the work, he paid them several thousand dollars to redo the roof and fix a leak. When they re-installed the A/C unit they blew up the mother board when reconnecting to power, they did pay the A/C company to fix it, as they should have. At that point my in-laws thought every thing was o.k., but no one went on the roof to check their work. Unfortunately my father in law died a few months later and we ultimately put the house up for sale. During an inspection we were made aware of the mess left behind on the roof (see photos). We called Rincon roofing and their phone system gave us a bit of a runaround and we were bounced back and forth between Rincon roofing and Bobs custom roofing. finally we got a hold of Katie ( the office manager), and she was quite nice, listened to us as if she actually cared and gave us an email address so we could send her pictures of everything we had discussed. we sent the following email: "Hi Katie, Per our discussion regarding address 2350 N. Camino de Esperanto, here is a list of items that were not finished after the roof repair on 4-19-2018. · Condensation pipe never reconnected · Metal flange was not reattached were duct work meets AC unit · Gap in material seal between AC and duct, see picture · Extra materials left on roof Thank you, Robbie Fitzgerald 520-xxx-xxxx John Fitzgerald 520-xxx-xxxx" Katie promptly replied: "Received, thank you. I'm going to get this straightened out and I will give you a call when I have it scheduled. Thanks, Katie " That was the last time we ever heard from Katie, Rincon Roofing, Bob's Custom roofing, etc. Despite several voicemails and emails they have not returned our messages. And so they get a 1 star review ( but only because I am not allowed to leave Zero stars). I cannot and will not ever recommend these companies to anyone. All they had to do was finish the job and clean up the mess they left and they would have received at least 4 stars.

Don't bother useing this so called roofing company. I called to have a roof replace as part of the roof blew off of our duplex apts. so it was kind of an emergency. Set up to have them come out they never showed up,I never got a quote, and they never contacted me. Not a reliable company at all.

I recommend strongly against using this company. When the first monsoon storm hit, we discovered we had a couple of leaks in the house. Since Rincon put the roof on our house, before we bought it, we decided to call them. I was told that they couldn't come out for a week because they had gotten lots of calls. We waited and finally, someone named "Dan" (whom I since found out is the vice-president) called and said he would be at our house in a half-hour. I waited two hours and called him back but got his voice mail. Shortly thereafter, he texted me saying he would call me shortly. I never heard back from him. I called Rincon twice in the next week trying to find out what was going on, and they told me both times they would notify Dan. But over a week later, I have heard nothing. And now given all the storms, it's impossible to get anyone out to your house in the near future. So we're screwed.
