Jasper Neighborhood Restaurant & Bar

We went using a Living Social Coupon - and I'm glad we had the discount - because otherwise, it would have seemed like it cost WAY too much for what we had. We ended up there during Happy Hour - and I got a House Wine (a nice white Pinot Grigio for $5), the fish tacos from the Happy Hour menu, and a garden salad. My husband got the fish and chips - and we shared a Chile Relleno appetizer. The only thing memorable was the appetizer - which was NOT battered / deep-fried like I usually associate with Relleno - but rather the chiles were stuffed with a cheese / shrimp mixture and served with a peanut sauce on the side. It was VERY SMALL (especially for the $10 price tag) - but VERY TASTY! Everything else was just okay. I doubt well be back.

My wife, child and I just sat for 45 minuteson a Sunday morning with no service and no food. We left. The waiter brought us water after 15 minutes, lost our order, did not tell us and came back after 45 min. to ask for it again. There were specials that we were not offered. The Management did NOTHING. THE JASPER HAS LOST IT. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

Cafe Jasper serves an interesting menu. There is a dog-friendly outdoor, cafe-style patio. The hands-on female owner of this independent restaurant is on-site, insuring excellent service by all the staff. Highly recommended.
