Music & Dance Academy

I have been attending the weekly adult ballet classes for almost 6 months now, and I love it! I have fulfilling, fun classes. I highly recommend looking here if you are interested in dance classes.

We have been with the Academy for 15 years. It provided us with many wonderful teachers. My son has learned great violin techniques which will benefit him for his whole life. Also, he enjoys playing. Every year the academy hosts several concerts to let students connected with each other and performed. Group lessons are also offered for students to play together. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is truly a great place to learn music.

I have been a parent of the Tucson Music & Dance Academy for over 11 years until we moved out of the state recently. My three children grew up in the Academy, learning dance, piano, vocal, and cello. As a parent, I value highly that the Academy offers flexible schedules and choices of teachers. The Academy’s highly qualified teachers are accomplished performers. Ms. Tishkevich is not only a great pianist, but also a principal who takes student interests to heart. When we started a new subject or an instrument, she matched my kids with teachers of the right qualifications, instruction styles, and temperament. She also facilitated parent-teacher communication when my kids did not appear to enjoy their classes or had scheduling conflicts. During our 11 years with the Academy, my kids performed at holiday, year-end and community concerts and we made friends with other like-minded families. The Academy enriched my kids' education. We are grateful for the wonderful experience and many connections formed. I highly recommend the Academy to any parents who want to cultivate in their children the lifetime love of performing arts.

We have been a happy Music and Dance Academy family for about 15 years, still going, since my daughter began with Kindermusik classes at about age three. Music education is extremely important in our family. When I looked around for a professional and classical music school, Music and Dance Academy felt like the right fit for me and I have never looked back. From the professional and expert faculty to the excellent customer service throughout the years, we have been very pleased with our experience and musical learning. Listening to my daughter play classical piano and my son perform classical guitar makes me feel proud that they have had this challenging and enriching experience. They have learned important life skills and appreciation for music. I highly recommend Music and Dance Academy for any family that wants a high quality, professional and nurturing experience for their family musical education.

My son has been going to Music and Dance Academy for a year since he was 6. He started music fun time and then piano lesson. Music fun time taught young kids music theory in a fun and interactive way. We have Miss Melissa for piano. She is very patient and always makes the lesson fun for young learners. My son started knowing nothing about music reading. He is now able to read music note independently and about to have his first graduation ceremony in a month. We are impressed with his progress in the past year. My son has developed love for music and he likes to listen to different pieces of classic music in his spare time. There are a few recitals every year that all students get to perform in front of a crowd. My son did one recital in person and one online. This helps built up his confidence. Ms Nina, whom my son had as both music fun time and piano teacher for a while, have genuine concern for him and want to see his success in learning. She gives us good advice on how to practice. We values her opinion. All front desk staff are very nice and always quickly address our needs. Thank you music and dance academy.
