The stars are for the audiologist only - she seemed very competent. The poor rating is for my office experience. I made an appointment there because I lost one of my very expensive hearing aids (over $3000 each). I only needed to replace one of them. My insurance on them expired 1 month prior to the loss. During my exam I reiterated that I only needed one new hearing aid. After my appointment I was told that my insurance would only pay for 2 new hearing aids in order to get my benefit. I chose to wait and called my insurance company the next day. They told me that my benefit would cover either one or two hearing aids and that the practice simply needed to send in the paperwork for the one hearing aid. I chose to go to another practice where this was not an issue. I have recently received a small bill (after insurance) from Arizona Hearing Specialists for the exam completed in June 2023. I am not happy with my experience there. I feel they tried to force me to spend thousands of dollars unnecessarily.

I just bought new hearing aids and I am thrilled that I did not go for the cheaper ones. I have them in my ears for the first time and they are terrific. Also, the care and concern that the staff has is truly professional and friendly. Let any of the licensed audiologists check your hearing. It is extremely thorough.
