I wish I could leave negative stars. Your staff need to learn about type one diabetes. My daughter has been type 1 insulin dependent diabetic for her whole life. Your staff couldn't manage her diabetes *she was only there a few weeks)and instead of consult with an Endocrinologist and adjust her insulin properly, she was taken off of her long acting insulin and only given fast acting insulin as needed. Then when this was making her ill, your facility shipped her off to a lower level of care, Catalina nursing facility where within a week and a half she was found unresponsive and had CPR then sent to the hospital in diabetic ketoacidisis. My daughter died. Your facility is negligent at best. My daughter was 37 years old. The negligence is devastating.

Anyone who knows me know how protective I am of my loved ones. My father was admitted Curahealth during a very difficult time in our lives. We were devastated by sudden changes in his health. I can truly admit that I went in on the defensive because of this devastation. The staff's care of my papa and compassion towards our family was a welcoming comfort. It's good to know that respect and dignity are still a pillars of healthcare these days. Compassion, excellent and supportive care was my expectation and what we experienced. I am appreciative and grateful for the hospital's "patient's first" attitude in the care they provide.

DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY HERE OR ANYONE YOU LOVE OR CARE FOR! It is terrible. A family friend was admitted here recovering from Covid because of needing a ventilator. We cannot visit and check up due to COVID rules so they can get away with poor treatment. I was truly afraid to see my friend go here but with their insurance it was our only choice. My friend told me how rude and condescending the nurses and staff are. Even the relative in charge told me the same issues are occurring when they call. They are being terrible to the family member who is in charge of care. They are rude and they cannot get answers from anyone!! They said the Social worker does not follow up either and is worthless. The worst part they treat patients like they do not care especially now when family cannot go and see what is happening. I called one day and the nurses station never picked up-which I understand they would be busy. But after the third time I called they did pick up and the nurse was SO rude and basically hung up on me before finishing the sentence. I had my uncle here when it was Kindred and it was terrible then and terrible now. Same issues, just a different name-SAME HORRIBLE STAFF. Social Worker was never around the either, they do not return phone calls, the nurses station is rude. Luckily back then it was not a COVID lockdown and I immediately removed him from Kindred. It was a nightmare. How could anyone get good compassionate care when the nurses are rude and condescending ?
