It has been a few years since I've been in to see Dr. Fitz but I was his patient for several years. He is absolutely wonderful, very knowledgeable and kind; staff was always wonderful as well. Highly recommend Dr. Fitz and his team.

I'm usually skeptical of a place that only has 5 star reviews, but I can see why West Ajo does.This is undeniably the best experience I've ever had at a doctor's office in the United States. It sounds like an exaggeration, but in my experience a good doctor that you want to stick with is very difficult to find. Pity Dr Fritz is not a PCP, otherwise I'd make him my primary doctor. He is very knowledgeable; I'm still using his advice a year later. He's very patient, kind, understanding, and has different solutions for different people. I never felt rushed by him or his staff. I initially came to him after switching from a place across the street (Golden West). I switched because at the other place I never saw the same doctor/NP twice, my appointments were always rushed, and I was shamed for not losing enough weight (despite still losing). After the weight shame at Golden West, I didn't feel as though I could go back, and searched for a new clinic. Thankfully for me, I didn't have any of those experiences at West Ajo! I went in with little expectations, and was blown away at the level of service. The staff are great too, by the way. I wish I could remember the main lady's name because she's worth recognition. It was a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend this place. Just note: we live in a world where we want everything immediately. If you want a doctor's appointment that's not rushed, assume the person before you does too. There's a bit of a wait, not bad, but it's worth it.
