Dr. Able is astute, kind, compassionate, and is extremely good at his profession. I highly recommend him! Dr. Able will do all he can to help a person to get well, e.g. going in on a day off if I needed care, calling me back when I had any questions or needed his assistance. I highly recommend Dr. Able and I am grateful to have him as my doctor.

After seeing this guy for 3 years, he cuts me off suddenly in March 2017. He gave no notice, no indication whatsoever that I would be terminated involuntarily as a patient. Able left me dangling over a precipice clinging to the brain zaps of cymbalta withdrawal. He sent 2 letters; one via reg mail, and one certified, but he couldn't be bothered to provide a referral to another dr, or offer a reason for the break-off. In fact, the letter puts blame on me for not being able to maintain a dr/pt relationship (but i did -- for 3 years!) and explicitly states that he will not respond to inquiries re: the termination -- it will not be discussed. I received a letter of termination in the mail 3 biz days after our last appt where we agreed to meet in 2 weeks to see how the cymbalta withdrawal is going. Needless to say, it's not going well. It took 45 calls, 2 weeks, and the involvement and help of my insurance company to get me an appointment 8 weeks after I was terminated. 8 weeks of unsupervised withdrawal of cymbalta. on my own. it's ugly. Thanks doc. you could have at least supported me thru finding someone new. nobody is taking new pts in Tucson. not on my ins, anyway.

The only reason I put a one is because I couldn't put zero. This man is a horrible person and only a slightly competent doctor. No wonder he's the only one available short notice. When I went to him he forced me to go to his oro valley office despite me telling him the only one I can get to without inconveniencing everyone in my life and the rosemont one is way closer to me and I told him so. He also charged me for 40 minute sessions when our average conversations were 12 minutes long. He rarely if ever listened to me and made a lot of assumptions and told me how I felt. He essentially pressured me into doing a sleep study for his buddy's work because he was doing a study and thought I was a good fit then never followed up with me about the results and when I mentioned it didn't even remember me doing it. NOW THE WORST PART! HE BASICALLY THREATENNED MY SISTER AND CALLED HER AN UNTRUSTWORTHY DRUG ADDICT. She has never even smoked weed, people!!! She's found meds that helps her depression and she just wants a refill each month and because of that he called her an untrustworthy addict. She left his office crying like I've done so many times before. THIS MAN NEEDS TO LOSE HIS LICENSE

This guy is a JOKE! One day ago I had a scheduled appointment and showed up, only to find the door locked and Dr. Able step out to tell me he couldn't be my doctor anymore. I asked why and he said that I would be receiving a letter with that information. I felt like I was a criminal of some sort and it bothered me all day until I read the review that was posted. Don't know what is up with this weirdo, but I would recommend you DO NOT choose him as a doctor. Thank you to the other person that posted, as I thought it was just me. If I could give a negative rating, I would.

I was a patient if Dr. Able since 2010 never had any issues. Until just the other day. I called in my RX and was told to get a refill to make an appointment, so I did. I had to schedule it a few weeks out because he wasn't available and then I'm having surgery and won't be able to drive for a week. About 5 minutes after making the appointment I get a call from him stating he's terminating my care and my appointment has been cancelled. When I asked if there was a reason, he said I'm sending a letter and hung up on me. Very unprofessional and unjustified. I hadn't missed any appointments or anything else for that matter. Doctors like him are one of the main reasons people turn to the streets to buy drugs. I will be filling a complaint with anyone I can and spreading the word about him. If he thought I did something incorrectly, I should've been given the opportunity to give a reason. But instead I was hung up on. Very unprofessional!!
