I have stayed in many B & B s its always warm and welcoming. Theres always a common area with great coffee, cookies and evening ice cream. My expectations I guess where too high!!! But this bed and breakfast its just that a bed in a hot room and a breakfast that was not very exciting !!! I was excited to find this historical site but its nit vintage its old!!! Very disappointed the worst 150 dlls spend here. Glad I only stayed here a night.

The owner, Lea, was very welcoming and hospitable,  The wrap around porch was lovely.  However, we were very disappointed in the accommodations.  I have no problem with dated furnishings as that is what is usually most interesting in a Bed and Breakfast but the cleanliness left much to be desired.  There was dust everywhere including the overhead fans, floor, furniture, etc.  There were two rolls of TP in the bathroom when we arrived - both down to less than a quarter remaining.  We left a message for Lea about needing more and received no response so we purchased our own.  We stayed one day of our original three and moved to a hotel.
