I would highly recommend you go elsewhere for any type of lending. I initially contacted Natinal Bank of AZ for a construction loan for the build of my new home. Despite numerous, specific conversations prior to me signing my building contract about my timeline to close and what funds would be needed to close, when it came time, brand new information kept popping. Their withholding of information and negligence cost me $6900. In the process, I took out a HELOC to help with my down payment on my new build. Now that I am no longer going through construction lending with National, they are procrastinating and ignoring my requests for documentation about my HELOC that my new lender needs, compromising my new time to close. This bank does not care about you, they only care about your money.
