We added a whole home solar system with Priv. Install took a week when we were told 2 days. Within a few months we saw absolutely NO improvement in our bills so they installed an Energy management box (essentially a governor that keeps you from using too much energy during high demand times, which is something you could do on your own frankly). After going round and round, several emails and calls later Priv added one more panel to our home. They still have 17 panels noted in their system and we were not home when the panel was added so unless we get up on the roof we really don't have confirmation of an 18th panel. After one full year we asked for a system analysis as our bills were still not coming down enough for us to save money considering our monthly solar payment. I started the request for an review in October of 2018 and go the run-around for literally months. Would not return my calls or emails for days or most of the time weeks. Was told I could get a call "ASAP' for weeks on end. I finally got a report sent to me in December and they offered to have an electrician come out to evaluate our energy management system. He said all was well and adjusted the settings so we could actually use it without our AC refusing to kick on. We were then told by Priv that our panels were producing as promised and that our demand charges were too high (seems to be a common talking point looking at other reviews and complaints)Their own documentation shows we are 830 short on KWH for 2018. SRP documentation confirms this. At this point we are at least $500 in the hole on our energy costs in 2018 alone - since putting solar panels on our house. The owner is well aware of how unhappy we are and passes things off to an administrative assistant. He has not contacted us and we have no resolution.

If I could rate lower I would. I am literally trying to return the panels and even though I've been calling since December (it is now March), I am assured that someone will call me back after a meeting/back in town/later in the afternoon. I have seen no savings in energy and thanks to the cost of the panels, I am paying 3 times what I was before panels. Salesman is a salesman. Promises of cost reduction are a joke. I am so angry at myself for believing any word he said. The company does not stand by its own product. Please run away from anything they sell. Seriously, all I want is the panels returned, refunded and my roof back to preinstalled condition. Being in AZ, panels seemed like a great idea, and maybe they are, but not from PrivEnergy. Update July 10, 2019: Finally got someone to come out in March 2019 and guess what? After 2 years, they still have not completed work on the contract! 2 years since initial install and the contract has not been completed, still missing parts and they haven't been reachable by myself nor the loan company.

I was lied to. I spent over $25,000 and I haven't seen penny of savings. I am very upset and frustrated but they don't seem to care.
