Dr. Daniel Galat - Renovation Orthopaedics

I have had a total knee replacement in both knees within the last five months. One in January and the other in April. Currently in am walking pain free with only slight stiffness. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. I am an RN and have a good understanding of the medical community. Dr Galat and his staff are very professional, going the extra mile to completely explain the procedure and process. They take their time with you and one never gets that rushed feeling. I feel like Im years younger and pain free. I cannot thank you all enough.

Well, I feel God actually brought me to Dr Galat. I met a woman in church who had had 2 knee replacements by Dr Galat. She raved about his sensitive and professional manner and such a wonderful outcome. The next day I called Mayo Clinic to see if I could move up my surgery date & was told I had to wait 6 months longer due to an Orthopaedic MD shortage. So I called my Mayo primary care MD who referred me to... one and the same, Dr. Galat. Within 2 weeks I had a successful full knee replacement. Their office & nursing, staff and the Physician's Assistant were excellent in keeping me informed, provided pertinent information and had great follow-up pre- & post surgery. I'm now happy with the outcome at 13 weeks post surgery. I'm Blessed.

I broke my hip on dec21st. Dr Galat was th e orthopedic surgeon who pinned my hip. Three months later.all is good.he did a great job. Thank you dr.Galat

I'm a 52 year old male. I didn't think I'd need a hip replacement at such a young age, but I'm very active (golf, hike, run, racquetball, & pickleball) and I have a family history of osteoarthritis. After 1.5 years of constant pain I decided to get the replacement. My hip replacement was performed by Dr. Galat and his staff. The entire process, surgical center, and staff were fantastic. They answered all of my questions before and after the surgery. I ditched the cane and walker 3 days after my surgery. The pain immediately after the surgery was never as great as it was before the replacement. It got better each day. I did put in the work, no PT but I did all the exercises, walked, and did strength exercises at the gym. I hiked 3 weeks after the surgery and was back to playing pickleball with my buddies within 8 weeks. After 3 months I'm still building up the strength and quickness, but to be back on the courts pain-free is amazing! If you need a replacement and are looking for a trusted surgeon, then Dr Galat and his team are a great choice. Thank you Dr Galat and Staff

Dr Dan Galat is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. Had a medial partial knee surgery 8 days ago. Walking without assist. Bend of my knee is great. Would highly recommend him. He and his staff provided useful insight on the procedure and what to expect. Made it easier to make my decision to have it done. Will be having my other knee done in the future, and Dr. Galat will be my choice to do the surgery.
