I obtained a second opinion from Dr. Firestone after being told from another surgeon that I needed hip replacement. I appreciate Dr. Firestone's honesty and professionalism in revealing that I only needed physical therapy to resolve my hip pain. I am one week into treatment and have already felt the positive results. Thank you for guiding me through this ordeal, and taking the time to explain my health concerns.

My experience with Dr. Firestone and his office has been great! Dr. Firestone has been very responsive to my questions and my progress. The recovery time has been much quicker and easier than when I had my other knee replaced 2007. When I have a question, the office staff responds immediately to help me. If I need another joint replaced, Dr. Firestone will be my first choice.

If I could give him a thousand stars, I would. 2 years ago at the age of 44, I found myself unable to continue my active lifestyle without pain. Walking hurt. After an MRI and x-rays, I learned I had a torn labrum, slight hip dysplasia, and hereditary arthritis in my left hip. I saw 2 different orthopedic surgeons in Chandler and didn't get a good "vibe" from either of them. In 2016 I had 2 cortisone injections (temporary solutions) at different places and asked both radiologists the same question: "If you needed a hip replacement, who would you go to?" Without hesitation, they both said Dr. Ted Firestone. I had my first consult with Dr. Firestone in January of 2017 and my left hip replaced by him July 26, 2017. IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! It was my first surgery. Everyone associated with the surgery was ah-mazing. Him, his team, the hospital team....I'd do it all over again tomorrow if I needed to. I went home the next day, used a walker for 10 days, a cane for another week, and the following week went on a short hike. I never had ANY pain after surgery, and only took 3 pain pills. I'm now 9 weeks post-surgery and at 46, I finally have my life back. Dr. Firestone is an incredibly talented, confident doctor - which I appreciate - and always took the time to answer my questions. I followed his instructions for exercises and have not needed any PT. I'll be forever grateful for Dr. Firestone and his team for giving me my life back. If you're currently living in pain and putting off a replacement, stop it. It will be the best decision you've made, especially if you see Dr. Firestone.
