DO NOT USE SUMMIT STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING!! Najhib Monsif is very unprofessional and he stole our company's money.We met Najib Monsif at the site of our property to have him provide us feedback and discuss using his engineering services. We were in a hurry to get the permit docs so we paid him the initial fee so that once we had everything together he can get started. Our company decided that same day that we would do a light renovation, so we would not need his services anymore. I notified him over the phone and told him we would pay $300 for meeting us that day, but would need the rest of the money back. He yelled at us and cashed our check without doing any work. We just received a mail from him demanding we send him an additional $1000 for more work that he did WITHOUT our approval..... We didn't even sign a contract with him.Just like the review below.... RUN AWAY

This person took my money and did not deliver as promised. Just seemed to want to do quick calculations and get paid. Would not followup or provided the required detail in his letter to get building permit approval. Used the same calculations for a 8 foot brick wall as a 4 foot brick wall with wrought iron on top. Had to ask what wrought iron was and I had to send him pictures as fencing on top of a brick wall seemed to be a new concept to him, even though he presents himself as an experienced contractor and engineer. Don't walk away from this one... RUN away fast. There are many other engineers out there that will not rip you off. summitstructuralaz.comROC 290265SUMMIT STRUCTURAL ENGINEERINGUpdate.
