One of the best quality home construction we have ever seen; we previously bought many houses, in different states, and this one is clearly the best quality we experienced.

We were so excited to move into our first new build home. We pictured nice completed walls, prefect baseboards, beautiful tile, even texture and paint. What we got was broken tile in the dining room and bathroom. Lots of other tiles have chips in them too throughout the house. Uneven texture throughout the house along with flat paint in all the rooms, hallways, and living room. Had we known about them using flat paint we would of gladly paid an up charge to change it. We did a walkthrough a week before we got the keeps and when we got the keys we still found blue tape from the week before. Found broken tiles on the roof. Paint on the floors. Paint all over the light fixtures. Paint overspray on baseboards. Meritage helped fix some of the issues but now say we have to wait until the one year mark. The baseboards in half of the house look so used and abused due to overspray from the painters. We have uneven paint now on the exterior walls and it can’t be changed till next month. The president and Vice President were helping in the beginning but now they are ghost. Billion dollar company that makes consumers deal with their poor workmanship. It’s really sad this world we are living in. Pay top dollar for a nice new house for it to look so used and abused. Would never recommend Meritage to anyone. Nothing but a headache
