The Owner was supposed to seal our flagstone and sprayed the sealer over our wood door treshold and over dirt, because he didn't do a thorough cleaning of the stone and upside down Saltillo tiles. Around the pool are he sealed the concrete and sprayed over the plants that were hanging over the concrete, instead of lifting them up he sprayed over them and killed a bunch of plants. At last he just left his empty sprayer with the container in front of our garage. He should have informed us about the issues we're going to have, a.e. water staines everywhere, on the Flagstone, the Saltillo tiles, especially where we have some slight low spots. Expensive and not a good job! I wish I could reverse the process.

I would not recommend using this company for any stone care needs. The owner of the company is Jim and his brother Steve works with him as well and neither is trustworthy nor do they stand behind their work. Initially Steve came out to seal my flagstone. He put the first coat down and said he would be back to apply the second coat however, getting him to come back was like pulling teeth. He continued to tell me he had run out of product and the company he purchased it from (Anasazi) didn't have any in stock. First off how do you bid a job and not know how much product you will need. Running out is inexcusable. Finally, after a good 3-4 weeks I called Anasazi myself and they said they had the product available. I immediately called Steve and did not tell him I had just spoken with Anasazi. I asked what the status of the sealer was and he said it was still on back order with Anasazi. When I told him I had just gotten off the phone with them and the sealer was available Steve stammered and said oh ok I will be out to apply that second coat. In all fairness Steve then did come out and apply the second coat. I thought that was the last time I would have to deal with them. To my disappointment after 6-7 months the flagstone sealer was peeling and leaving patches of discolored areas. The entire patio looked awful. So I called Jim's number hoping he would be better to deal with than his brother. He was very responsive to my concerns and came out to take a look at the patio. He agreed it didn't look well and said flagstone was a difficult stone to keep looking good. While that may be a fair statement I felt the sealer prematurely wore off and it didn't just fade off it was peeling leaving areas of a white film and discoloration. I was told by two other stone care companies in order to reseal it a chemical peel would need to be used first to remove all existing product off before it could be resealed and the estimate for that was $5000.00. Jim was empathetic and given the run around I explained I received from his brother he offered three options to resolve my issue. He would reseal my flagstone or reseal a new stone product I was considering replacing the flagstone with or provide me some monetary reimbursement. That seemed a fair and gracious solution. Steve did mention the product was a superior product and he had never had this problem before but that the manufacturer did not make any warranty claims as to how long their product should last and he therefore could not honor any timeline for how long the product should last. I told him his brother had told me it should last 2-3 years so Jim gave me the name of the manufacturer's name so that I could communicate further with them. I told him I would call him with a decision as to which of the three resolutions I preferred. I spoke with the manufacturer and learned the two coats of sealer needed to be applied back to back not 3-4 weeks apart. While they didn't provide a time line of how long their product should last they told me it definitely should have lasted longer than 6-7 months. The company said the premature peeling was due to an application error. So I called Jim back and his entire demeanor had changed. He said he would not return to reseal anything and the most he would give me was reimbursement of $300.00. I had paid four times that amount to have it sealed in the first place and that amount didn't seem fair. However, I didn't feel like arguing and said please just mail me the check. This was December 2017 and no check has ever been sent. I called and have left messages and no one returns my call and still no check has been received. Both brothers in my opinion have consistently shown disregard for their customer and do not stand behind their service at all. I would steer clear of using such a company which obviously lacks integrity and doesn't seem to know much about how to properly apply product.
