New Legacy Building & Design

We made the mistake of referring a great client to this company. They took advantage of him, and basically wripped him off with their contract. This cost him time and money... Warning!!!! He is going to take you for a settlement!!! Not complete the job!!! Isn't it normal to get full payment halfway through a job??? Are you kidding me!!! Terrible terrible company.... Nobody should even offer this kind of deal. Stay away!!!!

Robert is a con-man and that is short and simple. He owes well over 25k to us for flooring projects that he is now never going to pay us because he is closing shop. He took on projects with no intention of paying those people or even finishing the projects but just collecting money before the bubble burst. If you are a homeowner or contractor please be aware of the shady tactics has used. You will not collect your money and you will not get your project finished.

We were a vendor for Robert Swagerty. Did HVAC work for him, he has not paid us and has a law suit against him right now. These homeowners are living in an unfinished home! She has paid over $300k to Robert. MY SUGGESTION IS DO NOT TRUST HIM! He owes money to alot of his vendors!!!

New Legacy Building and Design, Inc. took all the money for our house renovation and did not finish the job! To date, New Legacy (Robert K. Swagerty) has not paid *any* of the sub-contractors that worked on our project for a total of over $120,000.00! Robert admitted that he used our money to finish other client's projects and failed to complete our renovation leaving us with an unfinished and unlivable home. We are now having to pay at least $100,000 over and above the original contract amount just to get our house completed. Our hard learned lesson... DO NOT HIRE New Legacy Building & Design unless you enjoy getting a song and dance with a lot of empty promises while seeing your money get used to pay to finish other client's projects. (And yes we would give him ZERO stars rating if we could!)

My experience with this company has been great! I have used them for 2 different projects and aside from a couple of minor material delays, everything was done in a timely and professional manor. I would use them again and have referred others to them as well.
