We love this place! Go there every year for or anniversary. Best part is you never know what kind of surprises are going to come out of the kitchen. Service is always impeccable. They give you the option to avoid certain items for the night but do your self a favor and dinner cross out anything. If you are going here you are probably an adventurous eater so give something new a try, even things I didn't think is like our haven't liked from other restaurants,I've enjoyed her. The foie gras course is an up charge but worth it. .especially for the foie gras I've cream.

I found Posh to be mostly disappointing. Its described as "improvisational cuisine" yet its not improvised at all which I found to be very misleading. Yes, you get a menu on which you describe what you won't (or can't ) eat and yes the food you receive is somewhat dictated by this. But, the misleading part of this is that all of the dishes are designed in advance by the chef. The night we went there was a red snapper dish, a lamb dish, a boar dish, a veal dish, and a few others. So long as you didn't put down a dislike of fish on your menu then chances are you got the snapper. As did everyone else in the restaurant. And its not as if I had some improvised snapper dish made for me, I had the same snapper dish as the other dozen or so snapper dishes that went past me. How is this improvised? Its more accurately described as "let the chef give you whatever he feels like from his preset menu." Most of my disappoint stems from how I felt misled by this restaurants own description. But the food itself did not help. The food was, I felt, consistently "interesting". They used unique flavor and texture combinations that I haven't experienced before. All of the flavor and texture combos that I tried worked well together. But not once did I feel as though a particular dish was really good or tasty. They were all just unique and interesting, but not necessarily good, or bad. The chairs are flat out uncomfortable. I wound up standing for the last couple of plates because I simply could not sit in the chair any longer. We sat at the counter for our meal because I was given the impression (perhaps falsely) that the cooks would interact with you as they "improvise" your meal. That is not the experience I had. The waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable, but the cooks tried their darnedest to avoid eye contact. Perhaps they knew their food wasn't so great and didn't want to see the disappointment in my eyes. Speaking of sitting at the counter, I wouldn't recommend it. The kitchen was very dirty-looking. I don't plan on ever coming back.

The only reason I'm not giving this overpriced, overrated pig a 1 star review is that the food did come out prepared correctly, 1st off when you walk into a restaurant such as this, you are expecting to pay exorbitant amounts of money for an awesome experience, and what my girlfriend and i received was quite the opposite. Right from the start our waiter was a smart-ass with myself and made several snide remarks right after i told him i was waiting for a special person to be with myself to dawn ourselves upon this atrocity of a restaurant. We both decided to do the 7 course meal with foie gras added, each course came out to be about one - maybe one and one half a bite of food although it was all delicious it was truly not enough considering the 7 course was 110$ a person, then since it was my girlfriends bday i let the waiter know and he wished her happy birthday right after the table next to us received several bday dessert options with the whole restaurant staff singing to her. Our water was often left empty and service was quite slow not to mention the ambiance of the restaurant sucked and was similar to a scottsdale bar but empty. And then for the grand finally the waiter hands me the bill and tells my girlfriend happy bday (snidely) again and walks off. At which point she unloaded on him as loud as she could making a huge scene and not even one manager had the balls or consideration to come over and see what the issue was. Save your money don't eat here i have had better service at a fox restaurant than this dump.
