Had a really bad experience with Dr. Meng. She was supposed to be associated with M. D. Anderson of Houston which was not true. East Jefferson is buying an affiliation with Anderson. It was a comedy of errors. First I was sent to the hospital for a heart work up, 2nd I had a biopsy of my adrenal gland when I was told that she needed a larger sample of my lung cancer tumor. I had already gone through Radiation twice and 10 sessions of chemo and I was looking for alternatives telling her at our 1st meeting that I did not want to do more chemo . 3rd meeting she told me I would do more chemo and she guessed I needed a port installed. East Jefferson must be trying to raise the $600,000.00 association fee required by Anderson. All in all she is charming but stay away.
