I went here recently on Saturday to watch some football with a couple of friends and actually enjoyed it. The bartenders were friendly and the drinks were pretty cheap. The one thing I did not like is that they didn't have the college package so you couldn't actually watch all of the NCAA Football games. Regardless this place's food is great and their drinks are not overly expensive and it has a nice vibe to it; so it's worth it to check it out.

!!!!RACIAL DISCRIMINATION AT ITS WORST!!!! DO NOT SPEND A PENNY OF YOUR MONEY HERE IF YOU BELIEVE IN FAIRNESS ON ANY LEVEL.
This is what happened to me and my friends when I visited Firehouse on 04/02/2011. Every time I post this experience it is deleted a few months later. I am and was so disgusted by what happened that I will re-post this experience every time I notice that it is deleted.
In 2011 after a certain hour if you were not white, you had almost no chance of getting into this bar. I have never--in my entire life--seen such obvious racism from a business. I am an educated Arizona business professional. And in the time that I have lived here I have never experienced or even seen much overt racism until the weekend of 04/02/2011. While waiting on line at this establishment, I personally watched a bouncer harass a well-dressed, professional looking African-American gentleman who was outside of the business near the line talking to friends. At first it seemed odd that the bouncer would target this person since he seemed to be doing nothing wrong. Then, when I got toward the front of the line, a person in the group of people who was just ahead of me was declined admission. The reason, according to the bouncer, was that the patron (who was the only African-American in line) was not dressed appropriately, saying that his pants were too baggy. I quickly compared this patron's cloths to that of many other white patrons who were being let in at that same time and I saw no difference. That same bouncer (I believe his name is Greg) signals to certain people to be permitted in while those who are not of a particular color or look are not permitted in. After we got to the front of the line and were next to get in (my party of tan/brown complexion) were forced to wait over 20 minutes before finally leaving. To clarify, we were AT THE FRONT OF THE LINE and forced to wait, while the bouncer Greg selected white patrons to move ahead of us.
That is how this company and bar treated people back in 2011 and while it seems that they have made some minor changes (location of the entrance), this company has lost a paying customer for life. I would urge anyone who believes in fairness on any level to think before you go spending your money at this place.

They claim to be a broncos bar which is why I walked my butt over here, and have the entire outside decorated in bronco colors, but are playing the cardinals game on audio while Denver is silent... This is the dumbest thing I have EVER SEEN I will never come here again for another bronco game.

My mom and I were visiting Scottsdale last week, and were walking around looking for a great place to have lunch and a couple drinks. We walked in, sat down at the patio......and waited and waited for service. The ASU football game was on, but the place was no where near packed. Plenty of other tables were being helped (the college kids) but we got no acknowledgement whatsoever. It was ridiculous! We were thirsty, hungry, and hot in the sun. After a good 10 minutes I went inside to order beers at least, or find out if we do order at the bar. I waited for 3 servers to finish their conversation, then 2 of them left, so I asked the remaining girl what we're supposed to do to get service. She mumbled and said she'll be right out. So I went back outside and waited some more. NOTHING. Finally she did come out, looked right at us, and helped 2 more tables before she went back inside. We had it - we left, and walked past the guy standing at the gate, my mom being pretty furious, told him that we had no service (he had clearly seen us sitting there with nothing as well) and all he could do was mumble "oh, sorry..." I'm 32 and I usually enjoy bar/restaurants like this, but we will never try this place again.
