Dr. Grout is a fantastic doctor! I have known her and seen her for over 15 years and she ALWAYS has found the root source associated with a variety of auto immune issues I have dealt with on and off in that period! AZCAM staff is outstanding as well. They actually care about you and you are NOT treated like a number. I highly recommend Dr. Grout if you are frustrated with the purely clinical world of medicine!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I am finishing yoga teacher training this weekend. This would never have been possible one year ago. I simply did not have the energy, or more importantly, the mental capability to learn something new. I felt like I was slowly slipping away, and now I feel as if I have another chance at life. What I love about Dr. Grout is that she employs many different kinds of healing mechanisms. She does not limit to Eastern vs. Western medicine, but goes with what works. She is truly holistic in her approach and in her solutions. And that, for me, provided life-giving results. Thank you from the bottom of my and my family's hearts.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Grout and her staff at AZCAM. After seeing several doctors for various odd ailments, and having symptoms over several years, like a bout of IBS, constant neck pain, half asleep limbs, hair fallout, pins and needles that would come and go on my scalp and face, extreme eye watering, odd rashes, constant itching even where there was no rash, hot flashes and night sweats like crazy, ears crackling like broken speakers if something was too loud, a body that just ached all the time, and always being completely exhausted no matter how much sleep I got… the list is long. I went to the doctor with each new ailment and I was always found to be generally healthy with no remarkable blood markers. It wasn’t until I began to have extremely swollen, painful finger joints in a few of my fingers on each hand and I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis (without the psoriasis), and I was prescribed medications that had such scary side effects that I honestly deemed them “The slow death” that I simply had to look for an alternative. Otherwise, I was going to have to take these damaging medications which are designed to suppress the body’s immune system for the rest of my life, based on a “best guess” diagnosis. I searched the internet and learned about Integrative Medicine and then I found Dr. Grout. She reviewed my medical records & previous test results and she listened to my long list of symptoms and then she ordered a round of tests. The tests revealed that I had Lyme disease with several co-infections. And within the first couple of weeks of treatment I could see and feel improvement in my joints. It was pretty amazing!! As an added bonus, all of my other odd ailments improved. I didn’t even relate them to the Lyme disease until I realized that I no longer had them. I’m still battling these persistent little parasites/bacterial creatures, but Dr. Grout is fighting the good fight with me and I’m so thankful that I found her. She has absolutely saved my life!!!!!! Thank you, Dr. Grout!!!!! And I can’t leave out all the great folks in her office. Thanks guys!!!!

DR Grout may have saved my life with her Special PSA test. All my PSA levels taken by normal Doctors were nearly within the normal range (it would go up and down) Dr Grout had me do a Gleason score PSA and it came back showing I had prostate cancer. I followed up by doing another normal PSA and it came back at a 4.1 (nearly normal). I was concerned about Dr. Grouts test but Other Doctors were not to concerned as I had no symptoms just a little discomfort. Because of Dr Grout's test I had a 3T MRI and it came back showing two points in the prostate that appeared to be cancerous. A subsequent biopsy confirmed I have prostate cancer. I will be treating it in Phoenix with either Cyberknife radiation or Proton therapy at the Mayo. Thank you Dr. Grout. I have yet to meet up with another Dr. that even knew about this special PSA test. I get the deer in the headlights look from other Doctors who don't seem to know anything about this special test or the value of the 3T MRI. Thank you Dr. Grout!
