Rich Fisch of Mountain Shadows Design Build served as general contractor for building a small addition to our home, and for remodeling the master bathroom. While Rich is a very pleasant guylow key and likeablemanaging workers and scheduling workflow is not a strength. Being a contractor requires keeping both hands on the wheel, but that was not the case. He was not effective at managing schedules nor was he onsite enough to ensure quality work. The workmanship was inconsistent, and we failed four city inspections which concerned me very much. In addition, Rich overlooked the requirement for two additional city inspections for insulation and dry wall. While some days had good progress, many days had none. I felt there was an atmosphere of disorganization throughout the project. And if you expect a licensed electrician handling your electrical needs, discuss this ahead of time. I assumed that would be the casebut it wasnt. Rich stayed close to the original budget, which was much appreciated, but progress on the project was painfully slow. The work was originally estimated at five months but ended up taking nine. Overall, I felt Rich was knowledgeable about general construction, but weak in project management and client communication. Service: Accessory building construction

I would give them 10 stars if I could. I just completed a 3 month renovation and cannot say enough about how smoothly it went. From the multiple meetings we had before I hired them, to the last of the punch list, Rich has been an absolute joy to work with. I found him to be completely transparent, honest, reliable, available, communicative, professional, talented and he has a great eye for detail. His integrity level is off the charts. His crew was wonderful to have around. They were here every day. They never had excuses for not showing up. Everything they promised, happened. Anytime I had a concern, it was addressed and rectified. They took total responsibility for everything, and if I wanted something changed or fixed, it was done happily. No arguments, no excuses. My house turned out absolutely beautifully and I couldn't have done it without them. They went over and above the call of duty, and I would never hesitate to recommend them or work with them again.
