The wife and I were looking forward to dining at Binks. Unfortunately, our night out was ruined due to a problem Binks blamed on Groupon followed by unacceptable customer service. The gift cards we purchased on Groupon were not honored. The manager claimed this was due to a change in ownership. Seemed odd because we just purchased the gift cards 3 days earlier. The manager didn't tell our party about this until after we arrived vs when we made our reservations. They could have saved our party and countless others a night of hassle by warning us when making the reservations. While there, we were lied to many times as to how this issue occurred. After much hassle we learned this was not Groupons fault. The problem was solely the fault of Binks poor management. Do NOT purchase Groupon gift cards for this place!

I was in town on a business trip and stopped by for a bite to eat late. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very hospitable and engaging. He went over the menu with me and gave me some good suggestions to try. I had to Sand Dabs with a small mixed green salad. Although portions are a little light for the price point, the food was prepared very well. Sand Dabs is a local fish in the area and was prepared with a brown butter sauce and almonds. Delicious. The mixed green salad was tasty as well. The bartender was great and gave good attention to everyone at the bar. Good place to eat while you are in Scottsdale...

Terrific food and wonderful cocktails. I will say, though, they need a full time bartender.
