I found Sundance to be a very helpful as well as peaceful center. I would recommend it to anyone I cared about.

Highly unethical. Do not go here. They have owed me a refund of $3000+ for three months. They have not returned calls, emails, letters. Do not do any business with Promises Scottsdale/Elements Behavioral Recovery.

I want to say that the group was great I met some awesome guys that helped me when I was down some of the staff I can’t name was very helpful. I waisted my time and was put in valley hospital for saying I felt suicidal and that is why I was there to get help not to be locked up. I ended up leaving because I was not getting help for my problems I know much now about alcohol and drug abuse though. I had to get my way back home because they don’t help you and they don’t tell you this until you get there. I do thank the ones who truly helped me but some others I have not good things to say.

Please do not spend your money for yourself or a loved one at "Sundance" or "Promises" The only thing they can promise is they will take as much of your money as they can, for our family it was $5000.00 a week!! This should be illegal. Not only did they charge $5000.00 a week from us, my loved one was subjected to sexual advances from counselors and staff! Michael Shumay called, texted and continued to do so after my loved one had left the facility for years later. Please remember when you are doing research for yourself or a loved one with addiction, it is not the amount of money you spend or how nice the facility is that counts. I only gave one star because I had to in order to post this review. Otherwise I would have given them a negative rating.
