Joey is literally the best barber ive ever found. beautiful shop, vibes on point, and helped me get a new style going thats a million times better than what I had (even though I walked in clueless as to what I wanted). Joey is THE homie, definitely coming back.

Above and beyond!! I called to set an appointment and I was nervous because I haven't been to a salon in years. Over the phone, Joey was extremely friendly and that carried over to everyone I met when I got there. I was welcomed kindly by several talented stylists in their very atmospheric studio. Adam did my color, cut, and styling and made very amicable company. He taught me hair care and styling tips while he worked. The services costed less than I expected (I paid about $150 before tip) and despite living a bit away, I will likely be having my next hair experience here again! I couldn't be happier and I'll be wearing this hair like a crown!!

My spouse visited Hair by Joey for the first, but certainly not the last time today. All we can say about Joey and the haircut Mike got is WOW!! Mike took a picture of somewhat what he wanted, and Joey made it happen. We have been together for over 36 years and I've never seen my husband look so handsome, even at 78 years old. Now, who do you have that would Balayage some blond over grey/white roots?

Save your money. These days, $60 (before tip) is not cheap so I was hesitant to go here to begin with for a haircut, esp since trims are also $60 here. I reached out to Joey, sent him pictures of what I wanted (an A-Line, which I've had before) and he recommended Kaitlyn, a senior stylist, would be the best for that cut. I booked an appointment with her and while I absolutely adored her as a person, I HIGHLY ADVISE AGAINST ANYONE GOING TO HER FOR AN A-LINE! What I walked out with was NOT an A-Line, but rather some sort of shag bob. It is about 3" too short, is not level anywhere on my head, and does not have a defined line anywhere aside from the right side, in which she attempted a line, but made a massive step in my hair instead, complete with a giant hole. My neckline was not straight, has a weird arch, and also has gaping holes. (If I figure out how to post pictures, I will.) I spent $72 to have a horrible, horrible haircut. I ended up having to have someone fix it who was mortified at how bad and uneven it was. She showed me a pair of scissors and asked if I remembered seeing Kaitlyn cut my hair with them. Turns out, that was the exact problem, she tried cutting an entire A-Line haircut with THINNING SHEARS. Now I am out $72 bucks, have to figure out what to do with it every day to make it look decent as it grows, and have to explain to everyone what happened when they ask what happened to my hair. At least it's beanie season. When I approached Joey with it, I have had zero response. Save your money, go somewhere else. Update: I have been in communication with Joey and there are definitely no hard feelings on my end, I am very pleased with how he handled this. I don't want to remove the review because this still very much happened and I think it's important for people to see how business owners handle disgruntled customers. Thank you Joey, for the email. Between your old number and mine, the call got lost in translation, but the email was much appreciated!
