Hard to get any real help here. Have had a hard time historically here but not completely a loss.

After reading some disgruntled comments, Id like to share some things regarding the CRRC, and where they may send you for help. Come early, as the CRRC only has three homes/shelters that they can put in a referral for, the beds are first come first serve. At this time those homes are as follows: U.S. Vets 300 s 2 per room + 1 bath MANA House NA beds 4 per room James Walton Home 18 s 2 per room + 4 shared bathrooms If no beds are available, I believe youre temporarily sent to CASS, if not permanently. Expect to be at the CRRC answering questions about finances, any legal trouble, and of substance abuse. Some homes require 30 days of attending CBI. Its a lot of paperwork, so expect to be here all day. Keep in mind, almost all of the staff youll meet at CRRC, or any of the homes, are vets, they may very well have behavioral health issues like many of us do. That said, think of who and what they deal with on a day to day basis, I highly doubt any attitude is ever personal. Focus on yourself.

Ms. Ulloa was amazing today. She was patient, kept me focused, even worked through her lunch break to complete my intake and help me get a few steps closer to my goal. More than all that- she genuinely cares. A Vet helping a Vet!
