Excellent vegan spot! My brother and I were deciding on an all-vegan place to try (we are visiting from Metro Detroit), and we picked The Coronado. Im glad we did! Food, drinks, and service were all fantastic. I liked the elevated but not over the top Mexican inspired food, and it was definitely different than other Mexican places. It isnt just tacos, etc. the drinks were delicious and paired nicely. Highly recommend the flautas and chimichanga, I cant decide which was better tbh. We also had the peanut butter chocolate cake and wow, it was so good! I dont even like banana but its worth trying. Its a very cute restaurant and its in an unsuspecting part of town. They also have brunch which looks super good. I am definitely coming back here when I have a chance. I would even take non-vegans here, I feel like there is something for everyone. Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan and vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: 100% vegan Parking: Small lot adjacent to building, plus more in the lot across the street.

Excellent plant based menu! The dining room is open and good for conversation. Nice outdoor patio in a cute neighborhood.

Not great. We were seated outside, and the only attention we ever got from the server was her asking if someone seated us at our table. I guess she had reason to believe we just wondered in and took a seat. Pretty weird way to start out. We spent the next 10 minutes looking over the menu while getting zero attention from the wait staff. Speaking of which, the dinner menu is pretty rough. Brunch looks way better. I saw the brunch pictures and just assumed dinner would be great too, but it isnt. Word to the wise: do not take non-vegan people here for dinner. Its the most granola hippie menu you can imagine. They basically just serve quinoa, potatoes, beans, and maybe tofu if youre lucky, in various permutations. We ended up just going to the bar and getting a drink. I will say the bartender was quite competent, and the host-type person was friendly. Overall though pretty negative experience.
