DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. What a complete disaster. I feel horrible for recommending this company to friends and family. Anything they say is a complete lie, I can’t even sell my home because the customer service department will never contact you back or give you any information. They tricked me into signing this contract, my first language is not English and they never provided anything in Spanish for me to completely understand what I’m getting into. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!

I had recently bought solar and shortly after I got a call from a rep from this company(Vivint) claiming they were “pulling permits” and found our information listed online claiming they knew we bought solar. I found this suspicious so I invited them into our home to see how they really got our info. Two men by the name of Shane Davidson and Elijah Smith came by and gave an absolute terrible presentation. They offered $10,000 less than the company I had signed with, they knew exactly who had signed me up and what price they had given me and it seemed very suspicious that this vivint company and these two reps were attempting to steal clients from other companies in a very non ethical way. I later found out you can not get a customers phone number from permits so this was a total lie from Shane Davidson, he stole my data and info and then lied about it. Upon talking to the first company that I actually signed with, I came to find out that this Shane Davidson character actually used to work for the other company and is now stealing data and attempting to steal clients from the other company! We will be pressing legal charges against both Shane Davidson and Elijah Smith of Vivint. These are extremely shady individuals with no morals and no one should EVER do business with them.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! On the 28th of July I called to start to relocation process for my system. It clearly states in the lease agreement that relocation is possible meeting the few requirements listed, which we met each one. I wanted them to tell me all of the options available which the nice woman laid out very well. She told me I wasn’t eligible for the buyout or the prepayment options and was only able to relocate the system that came with a price tag of $7,000 plus. I ask her to start the process and was told someone would reach out to me in the following days. No one reached out. I call back On the 3rd of August, and was told my system was not eligible for relocation because they do not relocate anywhere in Arizona. This is when they brought up the prepayment option which cost $35,600. So in a matter of a week, this company flipped everything I was told and clearly wasn’t abiding by the lease agreement. So after not getting anywhere with anyone over the phone my wife started leaving reviews and complaints on their Facebook, IG, etc about the situation and long behold we get an email saying we are able to relocate the system. This all happened the morning of the 3rd. So the relocation process is underway finally. A key point was to notify the company 30 days in advance of close date. Our close date is September 13th, so ample amount of time. On the 5th of August, we received the full cost of the relocation fees. On the 11th if August we received the system design for the new home, which we agreed was suitable. Then on the 13 of August we were told they will be in contact to schedule a site survey. A week went by and still no one reached out to me for scheduling. On the 25th of August I get an email saying they are working on the site survey and there will be a new case manager (Maria Salas) taking over. Since we are under contract to sell this home, the title company reached out to Vivint to ask for the prepayment amount, which was $7,000 over the original $35,000 number we received on the 3rd if August. It is the 9th of September and we have yet to be scheduled for the site survey. There is no hope at this point and in order to close on our new home it looks like we will have to bite the bullet and come out of pocket 36K due to the incompetence of a company that sold me the system with the promise of relocation. The relocation of the system was the main sell point due to knowing we planned to move in a few years. This process and this company hasn’t been of any real help. I wish I’d known before hand that they have no ethnical business practices. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Do not fall victim to this unfair and incompetent company. I will be using legal assistance from this point on.

I cannot begin to tell you how ANGRY, DISAPPOINTED and STRESSED about the service from Vivint. I am in the midst of closing on my home but have not been able to because of lack of cooperation from this company. I notified them more than 30 days in advance about my move to review options. When I informed them about my unique circumstances, I was assured the supervisor team would get back to me between 1-3 business days with a solution. I waited until the 6th business day because I had heard nothing back and my closing date was fast approaching, just to be told they have no record or notes from that call. I once again waited over an hour to speak to "Vania?", a manager, who once again told me she would need to discuss and would hear back between 1-3 business days. I asked if I could have email confirmation because last time there was no record and again, she assured me she would promptly send it out. Within a couple of hours, nothing. I called again to see if I could have evidence of the email, and Vania sent me to voicemail. This service has been terrible. I have had the solar panels for two years and now it seems Vivint is looking to collect on over $25k and I will have nothing to show for it, no ownership, no aid, nothing. Even though I'm only moving a couple minuets away, within the same city, they are reluctant to help me find a solution. I have had to pushed my closing day back and the stress and anxiety has caused complication on my pregnant wife. I am beyond disappointed in this company, specially because they talk so much about the "numerous" options if one is expecting to relocate. I am ashamed that I even recommended this company to friends and family, now that I know how much disregard they have for me and my family.
