Magic Touch Exteriors

Tried calling these people numerous times, off a sign in a yard in my neighborhood, never got one call back out of at least 5 calls and messages left. UNRELIABLE

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was excited for my new roof, the team went quiet after I paid the 25% down. I thought that it was because it was too cold to work on roofs back in March. So I patiently waited for the weather to warm to before reaching out to find out next steps. I was told they hadn't heard back from my insurance company so they couldn't do anything yet. I called my insurance company, and they had no record of Magic Touch trying to reach them after the estimate and inspections were done. The insurance company didn't agree with everything they wanted to do, but approved a full new roof. I reached back out to the Magic Touch rep, and didn't get a reply. Turns out he blocked my number, and I thought they were just busy. Then got a letter stating they were cancelling the job, and keeping the money due to lack of communication. Even though I was very communicative. My prior sales rep did a good job of communicating, and the 2nd one, Dave, did not after he received the cash. They claim it was per the contract, but the contract reads clearly states they only keep the funds if I decid to use another person or entity to do the job. I tried calling and texting, but even the owner was not willing to talk through it, or show me where on the contract it states that they can keep my money if they cancel on me. I will also be filing a complaint with the state attorney general and looping in my attorney. They took my money and ran pretty much Service: Roof inspection
