Absolutely the worst & most incompetent medical practice around! RUN AWAY! Their staff has a history of prescribing addictive & dangerous, controlled medications to individuals with a history of substance abuse. This is exactly what they did for years with my husband until I threatened to report Dr. Vanig to the state medical board. The office staff cannot complete any task without it turning into a complete mess. We’ve had issues with appointments, testing, medication refills, billing, etc.. The list goes on and on… When there is an issue (which will be consistent), it is nearly impossible to reach anyone. When you do reach someone, they are incompetent, and the vicious cycle continues… After years of the headache of dealing with them (only because of what this practice specializes in), the final straw was the fact that they repeatedly billed the wrong insurance for OVER 6 MONTHS before my husband and I connected the dots as to why we were receiving absurd & repetitious medical bills. Thanks to them, we are now trying to negotiate our way through THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in lab bills and office visits, that were billed to the WRONG INSURANCE at an astronomical rate above what cash-pay would’ve been. My mother is an RN and has worked as a utilization review case manager for years. If it weren’t for her, I don’t know how we would’ve been able to make sense of all the messes caused by this money-hungry, pill-pushing, incompetent & utterly disastrously disorganized joke & excuse for a medical practice. Yes.., there are some good people who work there. The practice’s failure to its patients is not an absolute reflection of those individuals. But over.., STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM SPECTRUM MEDICAL GROUP AS POSSIBLE! I tell EVERYONE I know how terrible this place is. There are far better options out there that can be sought out.

I USE TO THINK THIS PLACE WAS NICE BUT WHEN THE PANDEMIC HIT I DIDNT GO TO THE DOCTOR AND WASNT WORKING AND THEN I GET A BILL FOR 118 BUCKS. SO WHEN I WAS STAYING HOME THEY WERE BUSY BILLING PEOPLE THAT WERE NOT EVEN WORKING. I WAS VERY CLEAR WHEN I TOLD THEM IF I NEEDED TO PAY A COPAY I WANTED TO PAY THERE NOT GET A SUPRISE BILL MONTHS LATER.

I have been a patient since 2020 with Judith Bergman, NP. Nothing against the actual NP, Judith nor her Medical Assistant but the office personnel is horrible. I receive bills when I have met my deductible, I ask to speak to billing but always have to leave a message. This time, I received a bill for $130, I called and I said I want to actually speak to someone and they told me I would have to leave a message and someone would called in 3 to 4 weeks! I left a message for the office manager a week ago and still nothing. My pharmacy called to fill my script but found out it has no refills left, I called the practice and left a message. No return call, called again the next day and they supposedly sent a message to Judith. No return call or filled medication. This office is a mess! In the year I have been there, they have switched EMR systems 2 times. Everytime an appointment is made, you are required to fill out the paperwork! I have stopped doing it because its redundancy in doing so. Beware! Medications held hostage, billing for nothing, and communication is none existent.
